Patios, pavers & pool decks.

Pool decks, patios and paver walkways deep-cleaned and brightened, with optional sand re-setting and polymeric sand finishing.

What you get

Pavers cleaned without blowing out the joints

Pavers need a lighter touch than a driveway. Too much pressure strips the joint sand, and once that is gone the pavers start to shift. We clean at paver-safe pressure and put the sand back if it needs it.

What we clean

Every surface around the pool

Pool areas collect a specific mix of problems in this climate.

Suncream and body oils

Oils soak into porous pavers and pull dirt in with them. A degreasing pre-treatment lifts what plain water leaves behind.

Black mildew in the joints

The dark lines between pavers are organic growth. Treated properly, the whole surface evens back out.

Rust and irrigation staining

Sprinkler overspray and metal furniture leave rust that needs a specific treatment, not more pressure.

How we do it

Our paver process

Clear, clean, re-sand, finish.

1

Clear and pre-wet

Furniture and planters come off the surface, and everything gets pre-wet so nothing dries in mid-clean.

2

Clean at paver-safe PSI

Pressure is dialed back to clean the paver face without stripping the sand out of the joints.

3

Re-sand and finish

Joints are re-sanded if they need it, with polymeric sand or a sealer available as a final step.

What actually happens during a patio or paver clean

Pavers, pool decks and patios all get looked at first for the material and the condition of any existing sealant, because a sealed paver surface and a bare concrete slab don't clean the same way. Furniture, planters and pool equipment get moved or worked around, and we check paver joints for sand that may need replacing after cleaning pulls out what's already loose.

Cleaning uses a hot-water surface cleaner on open areas and careful hand work along edges, steps and tight corners around pool coping. If joint sand needs topping off afterward we'll flag it, and if you want the surface sealed once it's dry, we can talk through that as a separate step — sealing locks in the clean look and makes the next wash easier.

Good to know

Paver and patio questions

What people ask before we start on a pool deck.

Will cleaning wash the joint sand out?

Not at the pressure we use. Some loss is normal on older pavers, which is exactly why we offer re-sanding as part of the job.

What is polymeric sand and do I need it?

It is a joint sand that hardens after wetting, so it resists washout and weeds far better than plain sand. It is optional, but worth it on a surface that gets regular hosing down.

Can you clean travertine and natural stone?

Yes, at reduced pressure and with a stone-appropriate cleaner. Tell us what you have when you book so we bring the right setup.

Do you clean the pool cage as well?

We do — screens, frames and coping can all be included. Mention it in your quote request and we will price it together.
